Kara Wood Kids Ceramics Workshops
10, 12, 17, 19 July 2018
Children's workshops for budding artists. Workshops are set around various themes like Crazy Creatures, Make a Bowl on the Wheel, Parent and Child Cup Workshop, Parent and Child Succulent Pot Workshop. Includes all materials and firing.
Jurassic World Craft Village
16-20 July 2018 11am-2pm Westfield Kotara, Level 1 outside David Jones
Paint and design your very own 3D dinosaur and take a photo with the walking dino character.

Touch a Truck
9-11 July 2018 10am-2pm Westfield Kotara, Level 1 outside David Jones
Kids can inspect and have their photo taken with trucks used in the Westfield Kotara development. They get to dress up like a construction worker and imagine life as a builder. Plus free face painting each day.
Art Attack Kids Holiday Workshops
Art Mania Studio at Wallsend is hosting lots of art workshops throughout the school holidays, including tie-dyeing, head dresses, cartooning, fairy & gnome homes, origami and abstract portraits. All $40 bookings online.
Circus In The Park at Pacific Park
12-13 July 2018 10.30am and 12.30pm (90 minutes) Circus Workshops
10am, 12pm & 2pm aerial circus performances
Roll Up. Roll Up. Join in the circus fun and learn new skills and performance tricks, including hula hooping, juggling and basic acrobatics!
NAIDOC Week at Westfield Kotara
11 July: NAIDOC Week: Harry Hartog Aboriginal storytelling. Join Harry Hartog for a kids NAIDOC themed story time session
11 July: NAIDOC Week: Harry Hartog kids creative writing competition. Visit the Harry Hartog store as they announce the winners of the kids creative writing competition.
14 July: Kids art appreciation workshop. In this activity kids will hear about Indigenous art, to then learn how to create their own leaf painting.
5 July: Kids Aboriginal weaving workshop. Kids will have the opportunity to learn about traditional Aboriginal weaving, with help to make their own weaving keepsake.

Lake Mac Libraries
Lots of events are planned including mindfulness and yoga, using paper collage, NAIDOC week celebrations, Scratch programming, Ship'OFools' mini musical, science shows, lots more.
Lake Macquarie Art Gallery
Join a half-day art making workshop, encouraging experimentation with a variety of techniques while being inspired by the current exhibition. July workshops are inspired by the exhibition Re(A)d Earth and feature Aboriginal artist tutors.

Harry Potter High Tea
15 July 2018, 2-4pm Crowne Plaza Hunter Valley
Enter a world of magic and enjoy an abundance of sweet treats and snacks at our first Harry Potter themed Kids High Tea. The little ones will also enjoy a range of entertainment including a magician, face painting and arts and crafts.
Lego Long Lunch
21 July 2018 11am-12.30pm Crowne Plaza Hunter Valley
The kids will love the range of brick building activities which will be sure to challenge and inspire their creativity. Following the 1 hour workshop, each little builder will construct their own mini-burger to demolish for lunch.

Shoal Bay Country Club Kids Activities
Every Sunday from 12-2pm
Think kids concerts, magic shows, kids trivia, games and crafts days, and kids karaoke, and a range of fun activities. SBCC’s restaurants also have child options on their menus, so those of us who suffer the curse of a family of picky eaters can rest easy.
