Live Music Lake Mac is back in 2024!

Lake Macquarie City Council’s annual live music series is back for 2024, featuring a host of outstanding national and emerging local talent.

Happening at Warners Bay Theatre, baramayiba, and Rathmines Theatre, nawayiba, Live Music Lake Mac is your chance to sit back and relax to the sounds of some amazing Australian artists.

The series kicked off in April, with the Hot Potato Band’s larger-than-life brass collective bring their energetic and interactive performances to Rathmines.

ARIA-nominated, award-winning Indigenous singer-songwriter Emma Donovan took to the stage in May in Warners Bay. The concert featured Emma and her band playing her trademark soul and country songs plus new music.

Buddy Knox Project will serenade guests with his signature old-school blues in July. Buddy Knox is recognised as one of Australia’s finest guitar players, vocalists, and storytellers. The Buddy Knox Project features your favourite blues covers from Chuck Berry, BB King, and Johnny Cash plus original music, to deliver a world-class blues show you will never forget.

Iconic Australian musician Ben Lee is appearing at Warners Bay Theatre, baramayiba, in August, bringing with him special guests and tracks off his upcoming new album.

Golden Guitar winners Darlinghurst will close out the series in October, supported by Piper Butcher, who is fresh off the back of her Australian Idol success. Darlinghurst, with Cassie Leopold, Pagan Newman and band, are exceptional performers with a unique country sound grounded in refined songwriting, a keen ear for melody and relatable lyricism.
