You could call it a game-changer – a menu of four dishes (all gluten free, as an excellent bonus) that are healthy, fresh, and balanced, ready to be served up quickly so you can get back to your day.

Âpé gets it – while we’d probably all prefer a leisurely long lunch that extends into the afternoon, the work day gets in the way of that. 

So, what’s on offer?

First up, we’ve got a juicy 200g Angus scotch fillet cooked medium rare and drizzled with a confit garlic sweet soy sauce. Next on the lineup is the tender Hunter dry aged pork chop, glazed with apple miso and dates for that dreamy combination of sweet and umami. 

Seafood lovers are in for a treat with the Tasmanian salmon, dry aged for seven days and cooked sous-vide in soy, smoke, and scallop oil, while vegos will love the crispy pistachio tempura tofu, served with a shiitake mushroom cream, burdock, carrot, and fresh orange kinpira. There’s a vegan option for this dish too.

Each dish comes with plenty of sides – think mushrooms in shio kombu sake braised sauce, grilled cauliflower and shishito peppers, charred broccolini with honey balsamic drizzle, and smoked sous-vide tomatoes. Not only is it a feast for the senses, but each meal is super filling – you won’t get that 3pm hangry slump!

Available Wednesday through Sunday from 11.30am to 2.30pm, Âpé’s Express Business Lunch is the midday pick-me-up for folks on the go. Plus, the restaurant is conveniently located in Honeysuckle, meaning it’s nice and close to plenty of workplaces in the CBD.
