“We were invited to the exclusive 2023 Special Release Launch last month at the hospitality institution Eau-de-Vie Sydney. We were blown away by the releases and Diageo having such a broad range of spirits allowed for some classic perfections and also these insane collaborations like the 12YO Lagavulin finished off in Don Julio Anejo oak barrels [seriously!].

“The food pairings were out-of-this-world and really challenged our thoughts on what foods are typically paired with whisky. It was incredible,” Ben Stehr, owner of TINTA said.

These are NO ordinary whiskies and this is NO ordinary whisky event. You won’t find these whiskies in bottle shops or on the shelf at your mate’s place!

“The opportunity came up to host the only 2023 Special Release event outside of Sydney and we jumped at it – how could we not? These whiskies are so rare and so carefully and precisely curated, it’s a huge thrill for us to showcase them to the Newcastle and Lake Macquarie community of whisky lovers.”
