Chef's Table Experience
The Essential Ingredient’s In-House Chef, Paul Niddrie (formally Flotilla) is hosting a series of different Chef Table Masterclasses and Experiences.
Think classical French training coupled with explosive flavours and a ‘no borders’ approach to cooking. In each Masterclass, Paul will present 4 flavoursome courses and drink pairings, and walk you through the preparation of each dish.
This up close and personal Chef-lead experience is limited to 14 guests per event, so treat yourself to an incredible experience with Newcastle’s finest.

Cooking Classes and Dinner at Nor East Bistro
Learn from one of Newcastle’s favourite chefs, Tony Harrison (formally Bistro Lowlands, Bistro Molines) during an intimate seafood cooking masterclass for eight people followed by a two-course dinner with a Hunter wine in hand. Tony will take you through two recipes plus teach you how to master the tricky art of shucking oysters and serving a ceviche.

What can you expect? 12 of the best cheeses from around the globe, tasted alongside delicious Australian wine. Partnering with Yarra Valley Dairy you'll also experience some of the most mouth-watering cheeses in Australia right now.
Hosted by Black Pearl Epicure’s General Manager, cheese expert Peter Gross, and Wine Selectors’ Wine Educator Paul Diamond you will be guided through the cheesemaking process, learn about the array of cheeses in front of you, and develop the art of cheese and wine appreciation.
