ACAI - Hard to say, easy to make

Too embarrassed to order an Acai cause you don't know how to say it?

ACAI, {pronunced ah-sah-ee}

It's tricky to say, and when you do say it, your face will be contorting in all kinds of directions. But they're all over town now, some of our faves are at WIA StoreBuzz Junction and Ground Floor. If you're yet to try one of these little beauties, simply to avoid embarrassment, then why not have a crack at making one of your own. 

Daisy from Scoop Wholefoods has shared with us an awesome little recipe that can have you acai-ing at home and avoiding that awkward order.  

So, what's in it and how do I make it?

Ingredients
2 Organic Frozen Bananas
1/2 cup Organic Frozen Blueberries
2 handfuls of Organic Baby Spinach (why not?)
2 tsp Organic Acai Powder (the freeze dried powder contains more nutrients than the frozen packs and it doesn't contain sugar or citric acid)
Bit of Coconut Water
1 tbsp Hemp Seeds and optional
Tsp of matcha green tea powder for an energy and antioxidant boost!

Then blend it all up.

To make it all pretty you can top with whatever you like, but Daisy's suggestion of homemade grainfree muesli, rose petals, fresh organic mango and banana and frozen organic raspberries sounds and looks pretty awesome.
