Hanging to get out of the house and go somewhere, anywhere, for lunch or dinner? We’ve got some good news!  Restaurants and cafes in the Hunter Valley are beginning to re-open their doors and are super excited to be welcoming back locals and new customers to their dining rooms. 

To save you time we’ve created this list below as well as a super-easy way to search, just follow these steps...

The following list of businesses is constantly changing and being updated, if you know of a business that is doing dine-in and wants to be on the list please email [email protected] with their dine-in details including trading hours and phone number or booking link and we will add them to the list.

One of our fav cafes, Enzo’s is back open for breakfast and lunch for tables of two or four for the following sittings.

Breakfast: 8-9am | 9.15-10.15am | 10.30-11.45am
Lunch: 12-1.15pm | 1.30-3pm

To make a booking, email the cafe at [email protected] and wait for an email confirmation.  If you can’t get a table, be sure to grab something delicious from their takeaway menu.

Amanda’s On The Edge

Popular local restaurant Amanda’s On The Edge is back in the game opening their doors for dinner Wednesday to Sunday’s and lunch on the weekend.

To celebrate, Amanda and her team of talented chefs have come up with a three-course set menu for $110 per head which they’ll serve up over three dinner and two lunch sittings.

We can’t think of a better place to get back into the swing of ‘dining out’ then snagging a table at the home of fine dining in the Hunter Valley, Muse.  The iconic restaurant has announced that they’ll be welcoming back customers Wednesday’s to Sunday’s, starting this Wednesday 20th May.

They’ll still making the finishing touches to EXP. Restaurant (which will open next door soonish) but for the time being, we can all be thankful that Fawk Foods Kitchen & Bakery have re-opened their doors for breakfast and lunch. 

Fawk will be taking walk-ins this week when they open on Wednesday, 20th May (from 9am-2pm) and will move to a booking system next week.   If you aren’t lucky enough to grab a table, you can always takeaway.

Lovedale Smokehouse Café

In need of a lovely Hunter Valley lunch venue?  Look no further than the Lovedale Smokehouse Café and Deli to get your fill of briskets, burgers and all manner of delicious smoky treats. 

These guys are back open from Thursday to Monday and offering one-hour sittings between 11am to 3pm.

If you’re just up for a quick bite, The Smokehouse also do tasty gourmet platters.  Perfect for mid-arvo nibbles and wine.

Northern-Italian inspired restaurant, Il Cacciatore has been keeping us fed these past few months with tasty take out dishes from their new Winter menu.  With restrictions easing, you can now get these delicious meals, plus a few specials, when you dine in-house at the restaurant.

Ready to satisfy all your Japanese and Thai cuisine cravings, top notch Asian Fusion Restaurant, Oishii at Roche Estate is back open. With the 10 customer restrictions, the restaurant is offering 90-minute sittings for lunch and dinner.

If you find yourself in the Singleton area, Worn Out Wares is the perfect stop for coffee, breakfast or lunch. 

The café is back open to dine-in, weekdays 7am-4pm and on Saturday’s from 8am-2pm or you can pick up something yummy to takeaway.
