Snow Time in the Garden | 29 Jun - 28 Jul

Songspirals: Yulŋu Women Sharing & Nourishing Milkarri | Until 28 Aug
Songspirals: Yulŋu Women Sharing & Nourishing Milkarri includes print-making, weaving, and audiovisual works, and is a manifestation of the intergenerational continuation and nourishment of songspirals and milkarri by Yolŋu women in North East Arnhem Land. Don't miss the opening on July 6, supported by Lisa McGuigan Wines.

An exhibition by Newcastle-based artists Brittany Ferns and Megan McGee, Holdexplores the long history of the vase and its various uses over time.

A Garden of Parallel Paths | Until Sep 29
Artist Daniel Crooks is a careful observer of the everyday, and his videos are an exploration of time as a material. In A Garden of Parallel Paths, Crooks merges spacial dimensions, creating an interconnected ‘otherworld’ of Melbourne’s laneways, with time slowed emphasising the rhythm of pedestrian life passing through.

Old Stories, New Magic | Until 6 Oct
Old Stories, New Magic is an exhibition featuring works by 2024 Sulman Prize winner Naomi Kantjurinyi, alongside the surreal and folkloric works of six prominent artists who work in the realm of old stories.

Power: The Future is Here is a vibrant wall of superhero capes produced as a collaboration between Kamilaroi/Gamilaraay artist Dennis Golding and 100 Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students from Alexandria Park Community School.

Memory Collective (Part One): Felicity, Mavis, Tara, Tory and Vicki | Until 27 Oct
Memory Collective (Part One): Felicity, Mavis, Tara, Tory and Vicki is an exhibition by Maitland artist Catherine Kingsmill who brings together a family of sculptures representing significant women who have contributed to the social fabric of Maitland.

Lineage: A Visual Continuum | Until 27 Oct
Lineage: A Visual Continuum is an exhibition that celebrates the interaction of tradition and innovation in art’s ongoing evolution through eight varied but related art practices. This exhibition features some of Australia’s most renowned artists across generations including the late Guy Warren, Sophie Cape, Kevin Connor, and Elisabeth Cummings.

Ron Mueck’s iconic and internationally acclaimed Pregnant woman sculpture has arrived in Maitland as part of a long-term loan from the National Gallery of Australia under the Sharing the National Collection initiative.

Magical Winter Escape | 2 - 4 Aug

Hunter Highland Lunch | 14 Sep
Hunter Highland Lunch will be a fitting celebration of all things Scottish, featuring a three-course feast paired with current and museum release wine from McLeish Estate, performances by Maitland Pipes and Drums, highland dancers, and a caber tossing competition.

Yellow Billy x Vinden Wines | 22 Sep

Take That | 9 Nov
Take That have announced their return down under with a huge live tour, featuring special guests Sophie Ellis-Bextor and Ricki-Lee. This Life On Tour will see the trio take in seven dates across Australia and New Zealand, including three spectacular A Day on the Green events.

SummerSalt ft Hozier | 16 Nov

Lovedale Long Lunch is not just a lunch – it’s a culinary adventure, thanks to some of the Hunter’s finest chefs teaming up with six local wineries to create a weekend of foodie fun.

JUNE 2025

Burning of the Barrel | 29 Jun
Around 75 tonnes of wood and some sacrificial wine barrels (empty of course) are ignited for Burning of the Barrel, lighting up the night and heating up the Hunter Valley. You can also expect fireworks, delicious food, and of course, wine.
