Maitland Regional Markets Relaunch | Easter Sunday April 4
The long standing Maitland Markets, located in Maitland Showground, have been a solid fixture on the event calendar for over 40 years. After closing due to COVID last year, the markets are ready to make a comeback, and with a new operator.
Cambridge Markets are bringing new life to the traditional Maitland Markets. With experience running markets in Sydney, Watsons Bay, Ryde and Cronulla, they are looking to bring their same market spirit to Maitland, showcasing locally made and sourced products and giving the community access to beautiful quality products and fresh food.
The Maitland Regional Markets are free with optional gold coin donation to local charities. There will be loads of stalls showcasing delicious food and wine, gifts, jewellery and fashion, handmade local products, homewares and second hand goods where you are bound to find a hidden treasure.
Slow Food Hunter Valley will be present with their volunteers who represent farmers from the area, selling their huge variety of fresh produce at the market in a one-stop shop.
Maitland Showground is a great site, with ample outdoor space, heaps of parking, activities for the kids, live music and even the Easter bunny will make an appearance giving out Easter eggs.
So head on down to the first new look Maitland Markets this Easter Sunday.
