Hotel Delany, or as us locals know it, The Del has just launched a brand-new collaborative dinner series; Delany Dinners. Kicking off the very first event on the 1st of July, Delany Dinners will be working with none other than our local distillery, Earp Distilling Co. to bring you a night of delicious food paired with gins.
The ticketed event includes a four-course meal, with each dish is accompanied by a beverage crafted by the team behind Earp Distilling Co. Guests will also be able to purchase any of the Earp Distilling Co's products on the night.
On arrival, guests will enjoy Scallop Ceviche with pine nuts, capers, and preserved lemon alongside Just Juniper gin with Fever-Tree Tonic. For the entrée, you will be served Braised Lamb Shoulder & Fennel Cromesqui with tomato and pepper berry relish, and mint salsa alongside a Pepperberry Mule.
Mains will see both Hotel Delany and Earp really show off their talents with a Slow Cooked Crispy Pork Belly with charred cauliflower puree, and sweet and sour radicchio coming out of the kitchen, paired with a Yu So Absinthe Minded cocktail.
Be set up for dessert with a chilled Earp Distilling Co Summertime Limoncello for a palate cleanser before enjoying the Davidson Plum & Almond Tart with wattle seed custard, and crème Fraiche alongside Earp’s Davidson Plum Sour.
The first Delany Dinner will be the first of many, with the Darby St planning to continue the unique collaborative dinner offering. Inviting the people of Newcastle to dine and discover every 4-6 weeks on a Thursday evening.
