Bells Bakery & Larder
Situated over in Killcare, bells Bakery & Larder is home to freshly baked goods, coffee to go, local milk, and pre-cooked meals!
Bouffant Bakery
With five locations on the Central Coast, you will be able to get mini delicious Portuguese tarts whenever your craving hits. Between the namesake Bouffant pastry, the extensive selection of mini pastries, pies, sausage rolls, and their range of breads from sourdough to sliced white; Hornsby, Umina, Gosford, East Gosford, and Terrigal have all the bases covered for good classic bakery.
Burnt Honey Bakery
This is serving up baked goods at both Copacabana and Long Jetty. Owners Hayley and Jo have created a great online functionality too so you can pre-order to ensure you don’t miss out. The ethical practices of Burnt Honey, and the quality of product being delivered, put this bakery in a league of its own and makes the signature Copa Queen and Hayley’s chiffon cakes taste even sweeter.
Central Coast Cannoli
You won’t miss this mecca of Italian desserts in the eye-catching rounded shopfront that watches over Parsons Road in Lisarow (and now Long Jetty too). Inside, the iconic sweets do the talking with bags of biscotti, crostoli, and almond biscuits sitting before a gleaming espresso machine alongside the star of the show – the cannoli.
Daily Dough
A doughnut needs to be big, juicy, fluffy with heaps of delicious filling, they need to be an overload of flavour – that's how Emma Peat of Daily Dough Co. describes her sweet sensations that are one of the hottest commodities on the Central Coast at the moment.
Flour & Co. Bakery
Tucked into Toowoon Bay you will find Flour & Co. – a family bakery that has been serving us all the goodies since 1988. With bread and pies being baked daily, you are only disappointed if you miss out when they sell out! Their range of raw/vegan goods is substantial as is the selection of classic bakery treats in the window. This is an all-rounder of a bakery that gives consistency and nostalgia in what you remember a bakery being as well as being supportive of the community.
Green Tangerine
Green Tangerine claims a prime Insta-worthy location alongside the famous Long Jetty mural, matched only by their picture-perfect meals and in-house bakery items.
Ken’s Humble Pie Shop
You are sure to get some comfort food when visiting Ken’s Humble Pie Shop. The vanilla slice is everything your childhood memories recall, and the lamingtons are large and classical in style. With 29 pie flavours for you to choose from any day of the week, you are sure to satisfy even the most indecisive pie eater!
Ludo's Gourmet Kitchen
Give your tastebuds a treat at this hidden gem in Avoca Beach. Ludo's discreet shopfront invites you in for beautiful breads, pies, quiches, and pastry goods.
Mamigato
The Galleria, in Ettalong, with its European touch was the perfect location for Mamigato to open its first bricks and mortar store for their traditional French sweets. Starting out as a home-based business selling their signature Beignet or French donut, owners Luc and Cecile have expanded bringing more of their French roots to the Central Coast.
Rise Artisan Bakery Ettalong
Owner, baker, and pastry chef Rob Smith started his apprenticeship in retail baking and pastry cooking at just 16. Rob always knew he would work with his hands and combined with his passion for food it was in 2021 that Rob took over the Sasa Sicilian space in Ettalong to bring his passion for making as much as he possibly can from scratch to life.
Salt Pig Deli
It is technically a deli but do not let this deter you from visiting Salt Pig Deli for your baked goods. These unbleached 36-hour fermented sourdoughs are for the serious bread lover coming in multi-varieties. The range of ciabatta is available in three classic flavours, and you can have it made into a sandwich at the shop.
Sonoma Bakery Terrigal
Sydney-based artisanal bakery and coffee bar, Sonoma Bakery has opened its first store on the Central Coast with Terrigal being the spot. You can now get your hands on Sonoma's famous sourdough and handcrafted baked goods such as pies, sausage rolls, croissants, morning buns, turnovers, cookies, and cakes.
The Fat Goose Cafe Bakery
This bakery and café combo is a top spot for a laid-back breakfast or lunch and they do a great coffee to boot. On the bakery side, you’ll find hand-crafted Italian-style bread, rye loaves, classic European pastries, gluten-free bread and sweets, muffins, friands, savoury pies, and quiches. All are baked daily in-house at The Fat Goose.
The Good Bits Co.
Over in Gosford sits a delicious cafe space that is known for their cracking cups of coffee, their passion for Gosford, and, of course, their in-house baked goods.
