Now's your chance to vote for your favourite local brew in GABS Hottest 100 Craft Beer

It's that time of year when all craft beer loving consumers are asked to select, in order of preference, their five favourite craft beers of the year.

The GABS Hottest 100 Craft Beer people’s choice poll each year reveals the consumer trends and breweries shaping the Australian craft beer landscape.

So how well do you know your craft beer? To vote, click here.

With hundreds of breweries across Australia and thousands of craft beers to choose from, the task of choosing your top 5 can be a challenging one. To help you narrow it down, why not get behind your local brews and vote for a Newy made beer?

Each year the list of craft breweries in Newcastle and in the Hunter continues to grow as do the number of breweries entering their brews into the GABS Hottest 100 competition. Here's the list of breweries you can vote for in 2024.

Modus Brewing, Method Brewing, Good Folk Brewing, Shout Brewing Co., Maltnhops Brewhaus, Grainfed Brewing Company, Yard Kings Brewing Co., IronBark Hill Brewhouse, Hope Brewery, Murray's Craft Brewing Co.

Considered one of the biggest polls of its type in the world, GABS starts conversations about craft beer, and with an average of 30% of the list rotating each year, it introduces new craft consumers to beers they may never have seen before, and the best thing is, it's celebrated at sell-out live countdown parties around the country!

Modus Brewing once again has a long list of brews up for voting, in particular their Modus Cerveza, which co-founder Jaz Wearin told us was the highest-rated cerveza in last year's poll.

"We are really proud of what we have created this year in our bottled Modus Cerveza, with every case donating $1 to Rural Aid and ensuring consumers have the option to save 2kg of CO2 by not choosing an imported cerveza," Jaz said.

Voting closes January 14th, so spend your summer wisely and get busy voting for your fave Newy craft beer!
