Drink good at Hamilton's newest addition to their hospitality scene
Following months of lengthy delays with approvals and fitting out the facility, Hamilton has officially welcomed a new brewery and brewhouse, Good Folk Brewing.
Family owned and run by the Elsley family, owners Phil and John Elsley are extremely excited to have opened their newest venture.
“It’s been a long journey to get where we are. There’s been some delays that were outside of our control, but it’s finally come together” said co-owner John Elsley.
Offering a capacity of up to 145 people Good Folk Brewing offers dining with handmade pizzas made on-site, as well as snack and share plates.
Located adjacent to one of their sister venues, The Blind Monk, the venue has a brewhouse in the front and a brewing facility located out the back.
“We want everyone to be able to enjoy our venue so rather than take bookings we thought we’d just have walk-ins to start with. That way hopefully everyone gets the chance to come in and try our beer,” added Mr. Elsley.
The brewhouse will be open to the public 7 days a week and as well as serving a selection of fresh craft beers, it also includes a pizza kitchen serving lunch and dinner, along with bar snacks.
