This April, Newcastle Food Month will host a delicious lineup of foodie events showcasing the very best of our region’s culinary talent.

Get to know some of Newcastle’s best chefs, be wined and dined by them in an intimate dinner, put your beer pairing knowledge to the test, or broaden your cheese board repertoire.

Feasts, brunches, tastings, long-lunches, high teas, masterclasses—whatever your food scene of choice, Newcastle Food Month has you covered! This year more than 75 events are scattered across the Newcastle Food Month calendar, with options for everyone. Check out all of the culinary events below:

Le Dîner en Blanc  | 6 Apr

Kicking off Newcastle Food Month 2024, Le Dîner en Blanc returns for the fourth time igniting the city once again with its Parisian-inspired charm in a top-secret location. This is one event you don't want to miss, grab your invite here.

Italian Cheese & Wine Masterclass – Arno Deli | 3 & 11 Apr
We've all heard of Mozzarella and Parmesan, but that's just scraping the surface of the delicious world of Italian cheese. Join Arno Deli for an intimate Cheese and Wine Masterclass where you'll sample 6 amazing examples of some of Italy's lesser-known cheese varieties matched with 6 Italian wines.

Barrels & Brews – Foghorn Brewery | 4 Apr
The experts from First Creek Wines and Foghorn Brewery will present their wines and beers, including some limited releases, as well as a very special, one-off collaboration between the two, launched exclusively on the night. This event brings together the wine and beer sponsors of Newcastle Food Month to showcase the very best wine, beer, and food our region has to offer.

Icky Sticky High Tea – Ms Mary at Crystalbrook Kingsley | 5, 6, 7, 12, 13, 14, 19, 20, 21, 26, 27, & 28 Apr
Ms Mary at Crystalbrook Kingsley has teamed up with much-loved Icky Sticky Patisserie, to deliver a decadent Newcastle Food Month High Tea. This indulgent high tea experience includes a selection of favourites from The Icky Sticky Patisserie, paired with freshly baked scones and an assortment of savoury treats by Crystalbrook Kingsley Executive Chef, Matthew Smith, and a glass of First Creek Botanica Sparkling on arrival

Fresh off the back of completing the 3 weeks of professional training at Mons Formation near Lyon, France, and to celebrate Pork Ewe’s 10th Anniversary, local Cheesemonger and owner of Pork Ewe Deli, Sam Glover can’t wait to share all her knowledge in two intimate exclusively curated cheese classes from the Pork Ewe School.

Afternoons at Bar Mellow | 13 Apr
What’s included? A glass of bubbles on arrival, and four flavoursome courses with paired cocktails. Each cocktail will use seasonal fresh produce and have a delightful food accompaniment. Sagra Della Cucina E Vino – Una Volta | 13 Apr
The Una Volta team, along with your Hart & Hunter winemakers Jodie and Damien, will host a buonissimo journey through a traditional Italian menu of Antipasto, Primo, Secondo, and Dolce accompanied by premium Hunter Valley classics. "We are super passionate about making small batch wines that show their sense of place and are truly expressive of our home, which is the Hunter Valley," say Jodie and Damien.

Coastline: A Tour of the Mediterranean through food – Thermidor | 14 Apr
