Here's where you can treat yourself to a high tea in Newcastle

Few dining experiences feel as fancy as a high tea does. When your table features delicate china tea cups and stands full of petite, almost-too-pretty-to-eat treats, you're transported to a drawing room in Victorian England pretty quickly.

Want to know where you can get your high tea fix in Newcastle? From the traditional to the entirely unconventional, here's our guide to high tea in Newcastle.

Bartholomew's

Okay, so this one requires a disclaimer, because it only happens quarterly, but it's worth waiting for. Bartholomew's hosts a Gin High Tea four times a year, each time with a different gin distillery. For each event, the menu features an assortment of pastries, finger sandwiches, and scones served on classic tiered stands, alongside gin cocktails, of course. Keep an eye out for the next Gin High Tea on the Bartholomew's website so you can experience this heavenly combination for yourself.
