We wanted to celebrate our proximity to the Hunter Valley and have an outstanding selection of top shelf
wines including Brokenwood Graveyard Shiraz, which includes both 2018 and 1996 vintages.

Crystalbrook Kingsley Head Chef Natalie Bolt, whose resume extends from Dubai to Turkey, Indonesia, and most recently Thailand, brings her passion for food and great produce to the team. Natalie provided a few insights into what we can expect from the Romberg's menu.

Romberg’s offers a stylish bar bites and charcuterie menu, focusing on both native ingredients and using great local suppliers in our beautiful region, such as our Port Stephens oysters.

In addition to the food and beverage offering, it is important to highlight, as you enter The  Roundhouse the consideration of every aspect of the building and design process.

Working with local architectural firm EJE Architecture the design intent was to strengthen the identity of the iconic building by elegantly completing the existing structure with a rooftop addition.

The same consideration to Crystalbrook Kingsley’s exterior has been skilfully extended to the inside. Designed by Melbourne-based Suede Interior Design, hints and glimpses of birds, footprints, and feather motifs in the Crystalbrook Kingsley brand colours of yellow and charcoal, tell the story of Newcastle’s mining past.
