The Swordfish Co. has opened its doors in Budgewoi showcasing classic fish and chips, gourmet burgers, grilled seafood, and fresh salads.

Owners, Garry and Mel, are bringing over 18 years of hospitality and customer service experience to the table.

“We brought in our executive chef, and collaborated to create the perfect fish and chips, but with a modern twist. We use only the best ingredients and produce of utmost quality.

“We had a strong vision to create an offering and service that would delight our local and visiting customers. No difficulties were going to stop that,” Garry said.

Whether you're in the mood for Crumbed Calamari, Prawn Cutlets, Pineapple Fritters, or their signature Seafood Basket and platter for two, there's something for every seafood lover. 

The Swordfish Co. also caters to kids with house-made nuggets and freshly battered New Zealand Hoki fish cocktails. To satisfy your sweet tooth, don't miss their gelato with flavours like bubblegum, Nutella, and salted caramel.

They get fresh oysters from Empire Bay Oysters, while their market seafood comes from trusted suppliers like Better Choices Fisheries and Shane’s Seafood. Their fresh produce is sourced from local legends, Fruit Brothers. 

The seafood selection at The Swordfish Co. is impressive, featuring Aussie tiger prawns, fresh Balmain bugs, New Zealand snapper and hoki, Sydney rock oysters, QLD barramundi, QLD sand whiting, flathead, calamari, and more.

If seafood isn't your craving of the day, you can opt for the Southern Fried Chicken Burger or the already much-loved fresh Beetroot and Walnut Salad.

The choice of location for The Swordfish Co. was driven by the allure of the waterfront spot, offering breathtaking water views and a spacious area to cater to their customers' needs. 

“We had the opportunity to take over this special corner of Budgewoi and we couldn’t refuse. With beautiful water views and a large dining area – it’s a dream space.”

The Swordfish Co. hosts live music events, creating a fantastic atmosphere for guests.
