Lisa McGuigan is a fourth-generation Hunter Valley winemaker – it’s safe to say winemaking is in her DNA. 

While Lisa’s name is synonymous with innovation, eccentricity, and creativity in Hunter Valley wine, she initially bypassed a career in wine, instead delving into the world of hospitality. After a successful career in this industry, Lisa followed her calling into wine.

Lisa first designed and directed the launch of the now-iconic Australian wine brand Tempus Two in 1997, followed by the establishment of her eponymous label in 2010 – Lisa McGuigan Wines.

In 2019, the home of Lisa McGuigan Wines was born when Lisa opened Vamp in her hometown of Pokolbin. Vamp is unlike any other Hunter Valley cellar door – it’s an immersive experience that feels as if you’ve stepped into a medieval-meets-modern space that is truly reflective of Lisa’s style.

Not only has Lisa’s wine won awards both locally and internationally, but Lisa herself was voted as one of the Top 20 Liquor Industry Identities and has been inducted into the Business Women’s Hall of Fame.
