The growth of Newcastle's indie beer scene in recent years has been staggering, and it doesn’t appear to be slowing down any time soon.

What better way for breweries to showcase the beer they brew than by selling them directly to eager beer fans at the bar?

Brewpub of the Year celebrates Newcastle’s ever-evolving craft beer scene and the dedicated brewers behind your favourite local brewpubs.

The 2024 Bar Awards finalists have been announced and this year's Brewpub of the Year finalists are:

- Good Folk Brewing
- Modus Merewether
- Shout Brewing Co. 
- The Rogue Scholar

We now hand the difficult task of deciding who the winners are over to our esteemed judges. The winners will be revealed on August 5 at the Bar Awards event.

* The award is open to brewpubs located within the Newcastle LGA.
** To be eligible for this category the venue must have a brewery (or part of their brewing operations on site) and a bar that is open to the public.
