A curvaceous warehouse conversion in Parry Street, Newcastle West
Welcome to the converted warehouse home of Interior Architect, Jodie Duddington. I’ve always wondered who lives in the curvaceous building on Parry Street, just next door to The Edwards. And today we are lucky enough to have a peek inside!
Jodie grew up, in a rural wheat town, 300km from the coast in Western Australia. Through her love of design and the ocean, she developed a passion for marine interiors. For the WA country girl, it was the local boat building industry that brought her to Newcastle. Richard Branson actually, as in Sir Richard Branson! Yep, he was the client that asked Jodie to create the interior design for his yacht “Neckerbelle”, marking the beginning of her Newcastle story.
Like many designers, Jodie works primarily with new homes, but her own home is very different. It is full of history and interesting pieces, that she has made and sourced from other local makers. Jodie's home tells her story beautifully.

Ali Mohammed the cat. Jodie found him at the gym whilst taking a boxing class.
