Having only opened their doors a few weeks back on the 15^th of October, The Healthy Cocktail has already made itself a crowd favourite on the Darby strip. Serving their health-conscious, vegan-friendly, and tasty products; it’s exactly what the area needed moving into the warmer months.

Now, for some, the brand The Healthy Cocktail may ring a bell or two. Having launched in 2015 at the local markets purely as takeaway juices and smoothies.

“It wasn’t until I went on my own health journey that I got into juicing and fasting. I started at the Lake Macquarie markets every Saturday as a bit of a side hustle. People were saying to us, can you bottle this? Your juice is amazing! That gave me the push to start the batch pressing, and the push to launch the online side of things,” Milly said.

Over the past seven years, the local business has taken the health-conscious world by storm with their ever-growing collection of cold-pressed juices, superfood smoothies, tonics, broths, and their incredibly popular cleanse programs.

During that time, Milly has always kept an eye out for the perfect spot to launch their own retail offering. Finally coming across the empty space on Darby Street, right next door to the popular food & drink venue, Urban Deli & Bar.

“This space had the blueprint for exactly what I needed. We gutted everything, built a juicery, but the bones were there for what I needed to create. Darby Street for me has always been a vibe and I feel like that we’ve done in here and our neighbours at Urban Deli & Bar, we’ve brought this fresh new energy to the strip.”

The crisp white façade and open front windows invite you in to experience all that The Healthy Cocktail has to offer. Step on through the front door and browse the fully stocked fridge complete with all of The Healthy Cocktail grab-n-go products, as well as some selections from We’ve Got The Munchies.

The Healthy Cocktail’s cold-pressed juice range includes delightfully refreshing mixes including the Refresh with carrot, orange, lemon, and ginger; Recharge with beetroot, cabbage, apple, and lemon; Reconnect with kale, silverbeet, cabbage, apple, lemon, and ginger; and The Celery Special with celery, cabbage, apple, and lemon.

“The Healthy Cocktail’s juice range is unlike any other. All of our juices are highly vegetable-based and perfectly balanced with lemon for just enough sweetness. We take pride in using the freshest, most ethical, chemical-free produce, and truly believe this shows through in the flavours that we create.”

Next on the menu is The Healthy Cocktail’s tasty Mylk Blends. Each mixture is infused with therapeutic-grade Essential Oils and made on coconut mylk. The four flavours to devour include Choc Mint, Coconut Chai, Lavender & Goji, and Turmeric & Lemon.

Keen to have something jam-packed with a little more nutrients? The Superfood Mylks offer a tasty meal on the go, packed with the most powerful superfoods. Flavours include Lake Maca, Choc Mylk, and the Green Sea.

For a little refreshing detox and the perfect way to start the day and kickstart your metabolism, the Detox Waters are your go-to! Choose from The Detox with spring water, lemon, and ginger; The Antiox with spring water, lemon, and spirulina; and The Activate with spring water, lemon, and activated charcoal.

“The Healthy Cocktail is basically healing with plants and really tapping into the power of plants. To do that, we’re putting them through a process whether it be fermenting, juicing, blending, or mixing two ingredients together to activate them.

“We have our full range available including our normal liquids, detox waters, cold press juices, fruit smoothies, and essential oil-infused mylks. Then we’ve got our hot tonic bar which has coffee, specialty tonics, and herbal teas, but it's our specialty tonics that are a point of difference. They’re all made in-house on hemp mylk from my own special recipes.”

The menu continues with coffee blends available with beans from Silverskin Coffee roasters, their famous Not Coffee, a selection of tonics, herbal teas, and of course the 100% plant-based, organic, whole food, and gluten-free snacks from the guys behind We’ve Got The Munchies.
