Whilst the Newcastle food and bar scene in recent years has taken some serious steps forward, there has been one hole in the landscape that we've been waiting to be filled.

And in 2014 all our cheese, cured meat and páté prayers were answered when Pork Ewe Deli opened its doors.

Located on Mayfield's Maitland Rd, Pork Ewe Deli brings to Newcastle not just an extensive range of authentic flavours from France and Italy, but a beautiful deli space that you can't help but want to linger a little longer. 

In addition to the cheese, Pork Ewe Delis specialised charcuterie menu includes a list of authentic Spanish and Italian salami, prosciutto, pancetta, wagyu beef and the most delicious range of pátés, terrines and rillettes. And let's not forgot the liquid gold. No antipasto plate would be complete without olives and olive oil with Shannon not needing to go any further than the Hunter Valley to source some of the most flavoursome olives & oils, directly from the guys who grow them. You can't get any fresher than that.

You'll also discover a unique range of products which are sourced from small producers, or family run businesses, who are passionate about what they do, as well as being exceptionally tasty.
