Flying Spanners Gallery & Cafe

Art, coffee & food

An art gallery and café- a hidden gem in Teralba.

The Flying Spanners Gallery was opened in 2010 by Sydney artist, Rebecca Murray. After meeting her husband Grahame Wilson, also an artist, they have together "continued to pursue their artistic interests; Rebecca painting and drawing, Grahame sculpting and performance art".

"In 2014 they decided to add a coffee shop to the gallery so that people might sit a while and enjoy their artistic endeavours."

Not only is the Flying Spanners a café and gallery, but it is also their home and art studio, which is why you really do feel like you are walking through their front door…literally!

The small and quirky café front is warm and welcoming and is covered wall to wall in art and endless character.

The café offers a small menu of eggs, toast, croissants, cakes, and of course coffee which is by Crema Coffee Garage in Broadmeadow.

So next time you're out near the lake, if coffee, art and food appeal to you, it is definitely worth a trip to the Flying Spanners Gallery.
