Do you love a beer and BBQ? Does spending the day (or weekend) listening to live music in the vineyards sound like your kind of thing? Then the Hunter Valley Beer & BBQ Festival is for you.

The rolling lawns of Hope Estate’s amphitheatre will become a Beer & BBQ lovers’ paradise again in 2024, with dates to be announced soon.

The festival showcases over 40 of Hope Estate's range of beers and ciders including their easy-drinking Ales and Lagers, German styles, and thirst-quenching Sours through to the crafty styles of Porters and Stouts. The weekend is jammed with masterclasses, cook offs and live music too.

In 2023, twelve of Australia’s elite teams competed in the Australian Barbecue Alliance Championship across five categories. Dusty Que, from South Australia, took out the 2023 Grand Championship for the festival, taking home $1500 in prize money for the top spot.

In the Steak Cookoff, Phil Thompson took out first place in the coveted Steak Category, wininng $1000 in prize money.
