Southern comfort food arrives at MEET
If your idea of comfort food involves slow-smoked meats, crispy fried chicken, and plenty of Southern hospitality, you'll want to clear your calendar this July.
For four days only, MEET is serving up a Tennessee-inspired BBQ feast packed with smoked meats, Southern sides, house-made sauces, and classic American comfort food.
From Wednesday, July 1 to Saturday, July 4, Tennessee BBQ Week is taking over MEET, bringing a taste of the American South to Newcastle.
Created as a limited-time dining experience, the special menu celebrates the smoky flavours and generous hospitality Tennessee barbecue is famous for.
Expect a feast of slow-smoked beef ribs, brisket, pulled pork, pork ribs and house-made sausage alongside buttermilk fried chicken, sweet and tangy wings, premium cuts from the grill, and all the classic Southern sides.

To complete the Southern-inspired feast, MEET will be serving a special cocktail list throughout the week, while live music on Friday and Saturday nights will add to the atmosphere.
