Open-fire barbecue among the vines

Estancia Adina and Donda are bringing fire, food, wine, and community together for Los Gauchos, a South American-inspired long lunch among the vines.

On Sunday, 5 July, Los Gauchos will bring open-flame cooking, local wine, live music, and a shared winter feast to Estancia Adina.

Presented by Estancia Adina and Donda, Los Gauchos is all about slowing down and gathering around the fire. Set amongst the vines, the event celebrates South American barbecue culture, where open-flame cooking is less about rushing and more about bringing people together.

The fires will be burning from early afternoon, with whole lamb from Hunter Valley Premium Meats turning slowly on the spit, Donda picanha grilled over red-hot coals, smoked chicken, and seasonal sides designed for sharing.

Guests can also settle in with local wines from Adina Vineyard and live music from Kylie Jane Music, making it the kind of long lunch that rolls easily into an afternoon with friends.

Los Gauchos will take place on the first Sunday of every month, with the fire lit, the grills loaded, and the doors open for families, friends, and anyone keen to gather over good food and wine.
