Let the Hunter Valley come to you at The Station
Attention all foodies, wine lovers, gin connoisseurs, and brewing enthusiasts: it’s time to sample all the goodness the Hunter Valley has to offer, right here in Newcastle, at Taste of the Hunter Valley.
Sponsored by Peter Drayton Wines, IronBark Hill Brewing Co, Wildstreak Gin, and Newcastle Distilling Co, this inaugural event is bringing together the best Hunter Valley producers, all in one place – there’s no need to worry about getting from venue to venue!
Happening at The Station, you can chat to local producers and hear their stories, sip award-winning wines and spirits, try delicious food, and kick back in the beer garden with live music.
Not only can you sample an array of Hunter Valley goodies on the day, but there’ll be plenty of products for purchase, so you can bring premium produce and handcrafted gems home with you.
So, what producers can you expect to find at Taste of the Hunter Valley? Think wineries like Peter Drayton Wines, Hungerford Hill, Krinklewood Estate, Saddlers Creek, and Thomas Wines; distilleries like Kawal Rock Distillery and The Farmer’s Wife Distillery; and makers like Binnorie Dairy, Buds and Beads and Goose on the Loose.
Want to bring the family? Kids will be entertained with activities, lawn games, and a jumping castle, while you wine taste and cosy up at the bar!
Your ticket includes six tasting tokens, each of which gets you 30ml of wine or 10ml of spirits. Plus, you’ll get a branded tasting glass for you to sample all those Hunter Valley drops.
Fancy some extra tastings? Tasting tokens will be available to purchase for $1 each, so you don’t have to worry about breaking the bank.
At 6pm, the tasting in Wine Alley will wind down, and the beer garden will kick on with the music pumping and the drinks flowing until 9pm.
All that’s left to do is to grab your ticket, head down to The Station, and savour all the excellence that the Hunter Valley has to offer. HUNTERhunter readers can get 10% off their Taste of the Hunter Valley ticket with the code 'hunterhunter'.
