Gold Winner – Commonfolk Coffee Company  

The specialty coffee roasters from Victoria’s Mornington Peninsula create unique quality coffee roasted in their collaborative on-site roastery and café. Popular amongst both locals and visitors, Commonfolk Coffee Company are known for their beans, brews, and foodie offerings.

Their single origin, Kirura blend hails from the highlands of Kiambu country in Kenya and seduces its loyal following with its unique combination with notes of boysenberry, mango, and lavender. 

Silver Winner – The Branches Coffee Roasters

Hailing from the Northern NSW region of Murwillumbah, The Branches Coffee Roasters is an all-organic roastery with a philosophy centred on the approachable and simple, with the aim to bridge the gap between specialty coffee and the home barista.

Roasted in small batches, Branches creates custom blends for partner cafes as well as seasonal origins, all green sourced through First Crop Coffee in Melbourne. Want to taste test The Branches Coffee Roasters can be found at the iconic Darby St café institution, Core Espresso! In this blend, expect flavours of toffee, milk chocolate, and our personal favourite; raspberries! 

Bronze Winner - Stoka Coffee Company

Situated in Coffs Harbour is none other than Stoka Coffee Company, a coffee roastery set up by a team of seasoned hospitality gurus including national latte art champion, Kirby Turner! The bronze winner of this round of Home Barista Awards, The Seasonal blend is Stoka’s ultimate crowd pleasure and a featured favourite by many café partners in the Coffs Harbour region.

The Seasonal features a medium body roast delivering notes of smooth butterscotch with hints of stone fruit topped with a sweet caramel finish. This iconic blend is perfect for enjoying either black or white via espresso methods.
