The Newcastle West based premier beauty clinic, The MEK Clinic, has undergone a major transformation and now exudes the business’ incredibly luxurious and sophisticated vibe and offering.

Originally brought to us by local sister duo, Emily and Madalyn, The MEK Clinic launched in early 2020 and has received an outstanding reputation for its broad range of cosmetic and beauty treatments with an emphasis on skin health.

Expanding their original space, the local beauty clinic still continues with what they’ve become known for, but now, just bringing more flair to an already loved business. In addition to their renovations, the girls have also expanded their team bringing in Jess, The MEK Clinic’s new Dermal Therapist whilst also sharing a bittersweet goodbye to Madalyn herself.

“My partner in crime Maddy was offered an amazing opportunity which she couldn’t turn down. Maddy still cheers us on from the background, and we will have another amazing injector very soon to fill those big shoes,” Emily shared.

In May last year, we chatted with Emily to explore their newest offering and a Newcastle first, The MEK Clinic’s 12-month treatment membership programs. Almost 12 months on, we caught up on how the memberships had been received and what clients can expect from The MEK Memberships moving forward.

“The memberships have been a HUGE success! Everyone has loved them and we have a huge waiting list. It has been amazing to not only develop such close relationships with our clients but to watch them become more comfortable in their skin.

“The results speak for themselves. We have not been able to do another intake until February this year as we simply did not have the capacity, however, with our new Dermal Therapist Jess, we’ve been able to accept more memberships.”

Like any business development, the memberships have altered slightly to reflect client feedback, with the MEK Memberships now offering three programs; MEK ME GLOW, MEK ME FLAWLESS, and MEK ME AGELESS.

“We have made some small changes to our first two memberships to make things slightly easier for our clients, the biggest change is our brand new six-month membership; MEK ME GLOW.

“This membership was created after seeing many patients who didn’t need a lot of laser therapy but did need an intense course of Micro-needling and a smaller commitment being six months instead of 12 months.”
