Brought to us by Newcastle couple, AJ Koina and Brittney Saunders, this new venture based in the heart of Newcastle officially opens on the 20^th of April and is ready and raring to host your next creative session or upcoming event. Whether it be photography, videography, seminars, intimate events, and anything and everything in-between, Outdo Collective is the perfect fit.

For some of you, the name of Brittney Saunders may ring a bell, the 28-year-old entrepreneur has been making a name for herself over recent years with her broad range of businesses including FAYT The Label, Staple Swim, FORM Active, and FAYT The Store based in Maryville.

Owning multiple women’s fashion brands, Brittney often found herself looking for beautiful and unique spaces to shoot her collections in. Struggling to find the perfect space in Newcastle, she was often travelling down to Sydney just to get the perfect shot.

Come June last year, the young couple decided to move forward with plans to create their very own creative studio, not only for their own personal use but to hire out to fellow creatives and small businesses in Newcastle and beyond.

The crisp white studio space is situated on King St and features 150sqm of open plan, giving you the opportunity to utilise every square inch for any of your creative endeavours.

The name itself is a representation of how the duo hopes for the space to be utilised…

In addition to the awe-inspiring, jaw-dropping, and downright epic creative studio and events space, you can also find an on-site on-the-go café space, Outdo Espresso.

Nestled in the northern end of the overall space you’ll find the on-site light-filled café, Outdo Espresso. Whether you’re on the go looking for a quick pick-me-up, or are enjoying a slow weekend, Outdo Espresso has you sorted with good coffee, delicious treats, and even great conversation!

“Being a grab-and-go style coffee shop, we are offering a small yet curated menu. Think mouth-watering toasties, Insta-worthy acai bowls, and a large range of pastries and treats; including loaded cookies, almond croissants, and everything in between.”
