Explore Hamilton’s hair, beauty, and fitness offerings
When you think of Beaumont St, what exactly do you picture? For me, it’s usually the go-to spot for all things food, but we’ve got news, it’s slowly becoming the strip for much more, including health and fitness.
Known for its incredibly diverse and unique range of offerings, Hamilton has also become rather renowned around town for its ongoing growth in the health, beauty, and fitness industries. Whether you’re in need of a haircut, want to treat yourself to a facial or just looking to join a new gym, Hamilton’s offering is incomparable.

Sorella
Perched between two commercial buildings on the corner of Tudor and Steel streets, is Newcastle's chic home of hair and beauty - Sorella Salon. Sorella, or 'sister' in Italian, is the brainchild of sisters Illiana and Marisa Conway and is their first venture together after 16 collective years in the hair, brow, and makeup game.
In a nod to their European roots, the sisters sought out the help of a close friend and co-founder of Something More Design, Keeley Baird where she sought inspiration from Italian bathhouses and Tuscan estates. Think neutral clay tones, loads of natural light, hand-painted washbasin, and sculptural archways.
