The ladies from Honest Paper have been feeling the love from all of the specialty stationery fans. Setting up their shop at The Junction
in 2016, and don't worry they haven't moved, Bella and Gabi have taken another big step in the
business setting up a sister store, this time at Westfield Kotara (opposite Zara).
Whilst the concept of the newest Honest Paper is the same, we chatted with Gabi to get more deets on what's brought on the new move.
"I guess the major differences between the store is the size, haha, it's TWICE as big! Otherwise, it's pretty much the same, Australian brands and products
made with care. We do now have plants for sale (working with Still Life Floral Art at the Junction)! We also have a kids corner and a gift wrapping
service (at both stores) where people can bring in any gift and we'll wrap it beautifully."
"Our thoughts behind moving to Westfield Kotara were that we're big supporters of shopping local (as you know) so we've taken local to the people and look
forward to introducing Honest Paper to a new crowd!
"So far we've received lots of support from other retailers who are genuinely excited to see another independent business at Westfield, especially in the
carpeted section! Many people have commented on the service and care put into everything we do.
"We are just on a shortish term lease (til end of Jan) BUT potentially a permanent stay if it goes well... "
"The Junction is still open so plenty of Honest Paper to go around."
"We have been soooooo overwhelmed by the support actually, so many regulars and just general public who have said the loveliest things, totally took us
by surprise! Newcastle is a pretty wonderful place."
