Your Newcastle nightlife just got easier with the Midtown Shuttle Bus

Nightlife in Newcastle has just levelled up with the new Midtown Shuttle Bus connecting nine venues through the CBD.

Launching across the CBD, the Midtown Courtesy Bus is a free hop-on, hop-off service connecting nine of your favourite restaurants, bars, and late-night spots – making it easier than ever to move through the city without missing a beat.

Running Friday and Saturday nights from 7pm - 2am until the July 28, the service is completely free and is all about making moving around Newcastle at night that little bit easier. Think no parking stress, no waiting on rideshares.

No need to lock yourself into one venue all night.

Instead, you can bounce between stops like The Lass O'Gowrie to start things off, settle in for easy drinks at The Albion, or head towards the water for sunset sips at Newcastle Cruising Yacht Club.

As the night builds, so do your options.

There are cocktails waiting at Bernie's Bar, cold beers and live music at The Commonwealth Hotel, and a game or two of pool at The Delany Hotel.

Looking to mix things up?

Catch a film at Tower Cinemas, sip something a little more elevated at Crystalbrook Kingsley, or round out the night with a whiskey at The Koutetsu or cocktails at the Mad Poet.

It’s a flexible, choose-your-own-adventure approach to a night out – one where you’re not tied to a single booking or location, but free to follow the energy of the night as it unfolds.

With nine stops across the CBD and zero cost to jump on, the Midtown Courtesy Bus is set to become a staple of Newcastle weekends, whether you’re planning a full night out or just seeing where things take you.
