Beloved Lambton-based venue is wrapping up service
Brought to you by the team behind the ever-so-popular Redhead Beach café, Cargo Espresso Bar, owners Maree and Murray brought an authentic Spanish tapas bar with one of Newcastle’s most enchanting food and cocktail menus to the family-friendly suburb of Lambton.
Rosa Bar, launching officially in November 2020, has had a whirlwind of two years trade, and 2023 will see the venue take a new direction. Read more with a message from Maree and Murray below…
Sadly, our wonderful Chef Romi is moving on from her 2 years at Rosa. We all know that her cooking has her own personal signature and so, we have decided to not try to have another Chef replicate her menu.
It’s been a whirlwind two years for Rosa – covid closures, staff shortages, break-ins, bad weather… it’s been tough! This new development has given us an opportunity to introduce an entirely new venue to Lambton, and that’s what we’ve decided to do!
We invite all our beautiful Rosa customers to dine with us one last time before the 12th of February. Watch this space for some fun events in the weeks to come – we intend to go out with a bang!
Beyond that, our same team of smiling faces will be here to welcome you into the same space with a brand-new concept. New name, new offer, same objective: a great little local where you can catch up with friends and enjoy a night out.
