Traditional 3 Tier High Teas in their private Tea House
Located on the left as you’re heading out to Maitland on the New England Highway, Heritage Gardens Nursery is probably better described as a botanical garden rather than a regular old nursery. The beautifully laid out and immaculately maintained nursery is a sanctuary for plant lovers and is the home of one of our favourite cafes.
Set amongst the greenery and featuring a delicious home-style country menu Heritage Gardens is our go-to café for scones with jam and cream! Just like your Granny makes.
In late 2017 nursery owners, Olivia and Dwayne opened the Heritage Gardens Tea House, a secluded private space just next to the café. overlooking a cute cottage garden. This space is designed for group high teas, private functions and workshops. It’s perfect for special functions such as baby showers, christenings, kitchen teas or other family occasions.
The Heritage Gardens’ High Tea is a traditional three-tier High Tea starting with a glass of fruit punch, followed by finger sandwiches, hot savouries, freshly baked scones (with jam and cream), petit fours and tea or coffee. Every tier is delectable, immaculately presented and very filling!
Minimum booking 6 people for use of the Private Tea House. High Teas with less than 6 people will take place in the Cafe.
