Known for bringing the most sophisticated off-licenses to Kincumber and Long Jetty, business and life partners, Dave Kynaston and Michelle Permentier, have done it once more, officially opening up shop number three in Ettalong on 10 March 2022.

In the family spirit of Upstairs Wines, Dave and Michelle have teamed up with long-time friend, Ettalong Local and avid wine enthusiast, Benji Cuevas. After 15 years of friendship, they have finally decided to team up and create something really special for the Ettalong community.

Upstairs Wines is a collection of all of the pair’s favourite wines, focussing on minimal intervention, small-batch winemakers and organics, and biodynamic wines; you won’t find anything here that you normally would in the big chains.

“Like our flagship store in Long Jetty, our boutique bottle shop in Ettalong will be a place where you can come to try and buy our awesome, curated selection of small-batch, minimal intervention, wines, beers, and spirits, to pick up some delicious deli items or a place for you to simply pop in, say hi, and chat about wine with someone from our Upstairs family!”

So, if you’re looking for an excuse to treat yourself to some of Upstairs Wines boutique wines, beers, and spirits, head along to the opening day at their Ettalong location this Saturday, with a portion of all sales made on the night donated to help with flood relief efforts.
