The Central Coast Contemporary Multi-Arts Centre has officially found a dedicated home in the heart of Gosford.

“The Fun Haus Factory is a mix of a funky little art bar, a love letter to the art of discovery, it’s a hub of creativity, a home for creatives and audiences, and a nucleus of shared experiences.

“This ground-breaking regional artist space offers a place for everything and everyone from contemporary live music, cabaret, resident DJs, fringe theatre to spoken-word to community workshops and so much more,” Creative Director, Glitta Supernova said.

The Fun Haus Factory is open from Thursday to Sunday and will host multiple events across the four days. From its FREE Saturday DJ Night party nights, with rotating local DJ residencies across genres from House and Dance Music to a monthly ALT Night.

Saturdays will also feature dog-friendly dinner and drink sessions on the deck overlooking Kibble Park from 5pm-7pm. 

Sundays will feature Sonic Sundays, a free live music and all-ages weekly daytime event featuring different bands each week with styles from swing to rock to electro and beyond.

Fridays will feature alternating residencies with the Gosford Comedy Club taking over on the last Friday of each month, global Latin sounds with Hot Sauce, an award-winning Sydney burlesque show, Royal Heart Review, plus local and touring shows stopping by.

Thursdays will see The Welcome Choir and monthly queer night ThursGAY plus more community-facing events to get amongst.

Part of the organisation’s Gosford culture building includes a pioneering social enterprise, restaurant residency with Chilango Hermanos setting up shop. The brother-and-sister team have recently moved to the Central Coast from Mexico City and are now serving up their fresh, authentic family recipes at The Fun Haus Factory alongside a fully stocked bar.

“Whether you’re hoeing into a taco, viewing an art exhibition, or listening to live music and taking in the scene across Kibble Park, this eclectic and colourful space is a real vibe, a combination of an arts centre and dive bar with massive artworks on the walls and vintage velvet lounge furnishings.

“I like to think of it as a sophisticated and kooky fusion of culture and communities, a unique home built by creatives for all our locals and visitors, something you could find in an inner city hub but right here in the heart of Gosford.”
