Rock heavyweights return to Newcastle this December
One of rock's most influential bands is heading back to Newcastle this summer.
On Wednesday, December 16, Queens of the Stone Age will take over Newcastle Entertainment Centre with special guests Primus and Tropical F*ck Storm.
Presented by Live Nation, the Australian and New Zealand tour marks the band's first visit to the region since 2024 and sees the acclaimed five-piece performing seven arena and outdoor shows across Australia and New Zealand.
Led by Josh Homme, Queens of the Stone Age have spent more than two decades redefining modern rock, building a catalogue that includes iconic tracks such as No One Knows, Little Sister, My God Is the Sun, Emotion Sickness, and Paper Machete.
Known for their explosive live performances and genre-defying sound, the Grammy-nominated band continues to attract audiences around the world with shows that balance heavy riffs, infectious hooks, and Homme's unmistakable stage presence.
Joining the tour are legendary alternative rock pioneers Primus, renowned for their eccentric musicianship and unmistakable bass-driven sound, alongside Melbourne experimental art-punk outfit Tropical F*ck Storm, making this one of the biggest rock lineups to hit Newcastle this year.
