A fundraising dinner inspired by Australia

Restaurant 2317 is hosting a fundraising dinner in support of Port Stephens Koala Hospital, with a three-course menu inspired by native ingredients, local flavours, and Australian produce.

On Saturday, 1 August, Restaurant 2317 will host a three-course fundraising dinner, with $25 from every ticket donated directly to Port Stephens Koala Hospital.

Held at Restaurant 2317, the fundraising dinner brings together good food and a good cause, supporting the important work of Port Stephens Koala Hospital.

The three-course menu has been designed to celebrate the unique flavours of the region, with guests able to choose from a selection of entrées, mains, and desserts.

Entrée options include Southern Highlands pork belly with pumpkin purée, macadamia, and lemon myrtle jus; wild sourced Ballina pipis with saffron bisque and sourdough damper; or Hunter Belle double brie with 2317 quince paste, spiced nuts, and wattleseed lavosh.

For mains, choose from market fish, lamb backstrap, or mushroom pomme Anna, before finishing with pavlova with blueberry and muntries compote, or mulled wine poached pear with macadamia and white chocolate.

Tickets are $110 per person, including a $25 donation directly to Port Stephens Koala Hospital.
