Repair, reconnect, and rethink waste at Clyde St Arts
Clyde St Arts is hosting its Repair Cafe, inviting the local community to bring along broken items, learn practical skills, reduce waste, and settle in for a Friday afternoon of good vibes.
On Friday, 3 July, Clyde St Arts’ July Repair Cafe will bring together repair triage, textiles, small electronics, timber, composting, wellbeing, meditation, and pizza.
Held in the western laneway at 50 Clyde Street, Hamilton North, the Repair Cafe is all about rediscovering the power of fixing, sharing skills, and reducing waste.
The afternoon will bring together Upcycle Newcastle for textiles, SparkHaus for small electronics, laptops, and guitars, Reclaimed Commons for timber, OzHarvest Newcastle for food waste, The Full Circle Collective for clothing drop-offs, and food waste consultant Bec Bowie for composting.

Moj Habibi will also be part of the afternoon with wellbeing and meditation, while Piratti Bakery will be serving pizza.
Bring along something broken and the team will try to fix it, or simply head down for the community atmosphere, sustainability focus, and a relaxed afternoon among the Clyde Street Arts crew.
