16 Days of Activism | 25 Nov - 10 Dec
The 16 Days of Activism is an international campaign calling for the prevention and elimination of violence against women and girls. The event will include a vigil to remember the women tragically lost to violence in Australia this year, and will see Civic Park and The University of Newcastle’s NuSpace switch orange in a symbol of hope for a future free from violence against women and children. The turning on of the lights can be live-streamed on Wednesday 25th November from 8pm - 9pm.
