This summer, you’ll be transported to the sun-drenched shores of Italy with the launch of Romberg’s Amalfi Long Lunch – a four-course antipasti feast paired with refreshing spritz cocktails.

 

Kicking off on the 15th of December, you can indulge in the four-course Italian feast and sip on bottomless spritz cocktails overlooking the city of Newcastle from the stunning rooftop bar, Romberg’s.

Executive Chef, Matthew Smith, has prepared a menu reminiscent of summers spent by the Mediterranean Sea, where the spritzes continue to flow and lazy afternoons are spent grazing in the sun.

For just $89 per person, celebrate the summer season with a spritz on arrival and a four-course antipasti feast. For an extra $50 per person, you can upgrade your experience with bottomless spritzes.

Begin with house-baked focaccia with whipped ricotta and confit tomatoes, Sicilian olives, and San Dannielle prosciutto. Next, indulge in broad bean and mozzarella crostini, fried zucchini flowers, and Yamba prawn arancini before finishing with garlic butter scallops, polpette, and roasted porchetta panini.

Just when you think you can’t fit anything else in, finish the afternoon with a light Campari and orange sorbet.
