Celebrate the new space with a weekend of workshops at Scrubba Body
The incredibly talented and ever-so-popular team behind the beloved brand, Scrubba Body, has moved into their brand spanking new space in Newcastle CBD’s King Street, and is celebrating their new workshop space with a bang next weekend!
That’s right, the Scrubba Body crew are officially launching their workshops and are doing so with a daylong line-up of artisan-run creative workshops on Saturday the 26th of November.
The day will see four distinct workshops kick-off, including the DIY Terrarium, Christmas Earrings, Body Scrubs, and DIY Candles. Book your spot into just one workshop, or book multiple and save!
DIY Terrarium with Wendy of White Space Crafts
Get ready to get your hands dirty to create your own sustainable, low-maintenance indoor garden. Wendy will lead you step-by-step through the workshop to make your terrarium extra special.
Choose from an array of succulents, different coloured pebbles, and soils to build layers in your glass dome. No experience is needed, and the workshop is easy for both beginners and experienced plant lovers.
When: Runs continuously between 10am-2pm, pop in whenever suits you

Age: 13+ (note – 13-16-year-olds must be accompanied by a full-paying adult)

Make your own Christmas Earrings with Zoe of Oscar & Matilda
Create your own handmade Christmas earrings! This workshop will be themed around Festive Christmas earrings that are lightweight and perfect to wear throughout the festive season or to gift to a friend.
You will get to prepare and assemble your designs and create your own earrings from laser-cut bamboo pre-cut pieces and pierced acrylic findings. It’s a great short class for beginners to get a taste of jewellery design and assembly!

Make your own Body Scrubs with Josh from Scrubba Body
You will get your hands dirty during this session and make your own body scrub using many of the ingredients you probably already have in your home. We will use premium salts, sugars, plant oils, and essential oils to create two different types of scrubs that you will get to take home with you.
You can be sure that you will be in good hands because Josh, owner and product formulator at Scrubba Body will be hosting this session.

DIY Candles with Brookie of Scrubba Body
In this session, the experienced Scrubba Body candle makers will teach you how to make your own candles. By producing your own soy candles with fragrance oils that have been created especially for safe candle making, you’ll have a solid understanding of the entire process.
Have fun working as an artisan in their Newcastle studio and make the ideal present for a loved one of yourself. This practical session is perfect for beginners who want to learn the basics of candle making.
