Discover Lambton’s cosy homewares & lifestyle space
Lambton locals can rejoice with the knowledge that a cosy little homewares and lifestyle space has opened amongst the residential backstreets.
Suvii Home, brought to you by local gal Tahlia Munro, quietly opened their retail boutique in the quiet corners of Lambton on the 11th of June, and has been bringing the homely goods to locals since.
The local boutique was officially launched online in 2020, with Tahlia deciding to open a bricks and mortar space when the perfect opportunity presented itself, an opportunity to good to turn down.
“I’ve been online for about two and a half years now, but I always wanted my own space. It wasn’t until my sister bought the property next door and said they had this little space here available; it was a no brainer.”
Located on the corner of Orlando and Durham roads, Suvii Home is set back from the main road, making it quite the destination for keen shoppers, or the perfect spot to stroll by on your lazy morning starts or weekend adventures.
Stocking a delicious selection of modern, unique, and on-trend homewares, you can expect to get your hands on perfect pieces for all areas of your home. From one-of-a-kind door mats, antiques, decorative décor, and throws, to kitchenware, pots, crystals, and more!
“I’m offering mostly décor at the moment. Now that I’m in here, I want to broaden the range a little bit. I’ve been looking at doing some baby products as well. I’ve had a lot of people coming in and saying the products are really great for gifts, so I’ll be looking at expanding that gift offering and little knick knacks as time goes on.”
The local lover of all things homewares, Tahlia, with a background as a diesel mechanic, first started her journey discovering the world of beautiful homewares and creating a sanctuary at home following the purchase of her first home.
“I was a diesel mechanic for five years, but I knew I wanted to be a mum so wanted to change careers. I bought my first house and just fell in love with decors and started a little Instagram page called House To A Home. I built a great following through that so I just decided that this was my passion and I wanted to start my own brand. That’s how this all came about.”
Launching the Instagram page, House To A Home, Tahlia quickly built an invested audience by watching home renovations transform their property space into a beautifully curated bohemian-styled home.
From there, the concept of turning her love for home décor into a job, and Suvii Home was born.
