Having launched prior to covid-19 gracing us with its presence, the local business had the unique opportunity of helping local households create their own oasis at home, something that many of us had spent the best part of two years trying to do.

“My Plant Oasis set-out to help people create and achieve their own Oasis. Moving into those covid times, it became even more important for people to have their own sanctuary and we were excited to be able to help create them.”

Offering a green space shopping experience unlike anything else available in our local region, My Plant Oasis is much more than just a quick stop-in for a plant or a colourful pot. The enthusiastic and passionate team are excited about being able to offer exclusive products, an ever-evolving line-up of goods, and pieces made from the highest quality.

Having originally started with a focus on indoor foliage, the business has expanded and grown in multiple areas within the plant space. From expanding their indoor plant and pot range to specialising in landscape styling, and curating a collection of unique products impossible to find elsewhere in Newcastle.

“We’re always trying to keep things really fresh in here. We try to offer things that you might not usually find in your regular garden centres.

“We’re constantly getting feedback from customers that we have a great modern range of pots and products they haven’t been able to find elsewhere.”

My Plant Oasis and their team have also expanded into offering their unique eye for commercial projects and have recently undertaken a number of fun local jobs including the QT Newcastle, Brokenwood Wines, and recently completing a job for a new marketing agency in Maryville.

“We do commercial fit-outs where we will go around and source the right pots and plants for individual commercial venues. It’s always exciting when you get to see the final product displayed and effortlessly being incorporated into the décor of the venue.”

Moving into 2023, My Plant Oasis has a bunch of exciting new projects they’re pulling together including the launch of an exclusive range of cacti and landscaping plants that the local industry has yet to come across.

“We’ve got an exciting exclusivity coming up with really high-quality cacti and landscaping plants. There will be some exciting new variations of cacti and other landscaping plants that are coming on board that the local industry hasn’t really seen before.”
