Pony Hair Studio

The Junction has gone and got itself a Blow Dry & Colour Bar!

Is it a little OTT to say that a good cut and colour can change your life?

Maybe.... but let's be honest, how good is it when someone tells you how fabulous your hair looks?

Emma Johnson, owner of The Junction's Pony Hair Studio, knows all about beautiful hair and just how fabulous it can make you feel. Owning and managing a super successful salon in her hometown of Hale in the UK, together with some stints in NYC and LA, her more than 15 years of experience have given her some pretty interesting salon insights and allowed Emma to create her very own sophisticated salon experience.

You won’t find Emma cutting or colouring though, instead Emma takes the role of Host. Meeting, greeting and listening to each of her clients and taking the time to chat through exactly what they want, so they walk out feeling like a brand new person.

Once the hair plan is in place Emma leaves you in the safe hands of one of her colour experts who go about creating a little hair magic. The Pony team are a sassy bunch who love their fashion and staying up-to-hair-date with the latest trends and techniques.

In addition to the Colour Bar Emma’s brought to Newcastle the Blow Bar. Yes the Blow Bar is exactly what you were thinking it is, a 30 minute in-and-out blow dry service that you can squeeze in during your lunch break.

Continuing the customer focused concept Emma wanted the Blow Bar to be as simple as possible giving you 5 styles to choose from. Whether you like it big and bouncy, smooth and slick, or somewhere in between, the Blow Bar will have you looking effortlessly fabulous in no time at all. Perfect if you have a mid week dinner date or after work function that you want to look fabulous at.

If you prefer your Blow Bar experience to be a slightly less rushed book in a more leisurely time, sit back and relax with a glass of something in hand. The complimentary Pony drinks menu is as impressive as the Blow Bar itself.

Beautifully fitted out with its subway tiles, concrete bench and pendant lights Pony has a style of its own and is just a little luxe, which we love.
