It’s never too early to start celebrating the silly season, and it’s never too early to start shopping to support local makers and shakers. You’ll find gifts for everybody at Homegrown Markets this weekend – even those hardest to buy for!

Please check back here or on Homegrown social pages for any changes made due to weather.

1. Shopping for... Baby

This Sunday, find the largest range of beautiful baby products you’ve ever seen! Little Moon Swing specialises in felt goodies and educational toys for every little one in your life. You also won’t be able to look past Milly Molly Mandy Designs – Australian made and designed linen products.

2. Shopping for... Mum

Does anyone else ever accidentally buy more presents for mum than anyone else?! We’re sure she’s not complaining! Check out Blooms by Katey for beautiful long-lasting arrangements (also great for future mothers-in-law… especially if you’re meeting for the first time on Xmas day *wink wink*). She might also like handmade earrings and jewellery from the likes of Cherry On Top and Zenindi. They’ll have you swooning.

3. Shopping for... Bestie

You know your bestie better than anyone, and with 100+ stalls this weekend you will have plenty of different gifts to choose from that showcase your unique friendship. If you bond over a mutual love of saving the planet, be sure to visit Untrashy, eco-sustainable goods. Or if your favourite thing to do together is watch movies with popcorn and face masks, look no further than Wanderlust Fragrances, where you’ll find a range of Amber’s amazing home-made and vegan body products.

4. Shopping for... pets

Pooches are not left off the list this Christmas! Heaps of pet-focused stalls will have you sorted… for personalised collars, doggie treats and more.

5. Shopping for... Dad

They say dads are always the hardest to buy for, but have you visited the girls at Secret Book Stuff yet? Tell them what your papa likes to read and they will find his next great read… the best thing is it’s already wrapped and ready to put under the tree!

6. Shopping for... Grandparents

You really must take a look at the stunning art by Indigenous artist Judith Franklin this weekend. A well-chosen piece for the grandparents will surely make you the favourite for 2021. And you know what else grandparents always love (other than framed photos of you!)? Christmas decorations! Look no further than Leadlight by Linda for some popular glass decorations that will look wonderful on their tree.

7. Shopping for... Teachers

In 2020, more than any other year, teachers are among the most deserving of extra love and gratitude! Forget store-bought chocolates this year, and give your child’s teacher a gift they’ll never forget. Check out beautiful mugs and dishes from Fancy Nancy Ceramics or indoor plants (some cuties for their desk!) at Fancy Plants Nursery… are you sensing a theme here?

See you on Sunday for snacks, treats, live music and 100+ stalls full of handmade, local and eco design. Gifts galore!
