There’s a new façade sitting pretty on this bustling street in Wickham and it will certainly catch your eye. Heading down Greenway St the soft pink exterior paint of Lot19 Wickham will be drawing you in to explore their intimate event hire space and café.

Brought to you by the legends behind long-time Kotara-based venue, The Letter Q Café, and The Goods Catering, Deb & Kendall, the mother, and daughter duo are managing both the café and event hire space.

Step inside to the hole-in-the-wall café space and be treated to a light-filled space with pastel tones throughout, cosy indoor seating, and a food and drink menu certain to keep you coming back for more.

“We really wanted the space to be light and bright with a lot of natural light come in as well as a nice airflow. Mum is the designer of the space, and she loves anything on-trend. She’s got an interior design background, so she’s always got her finger on the pulse,” Kendall shared.

Having taken over the managing of the space in October last year, it was a busy few months of lining up trades and getting deliveries in around the covid delays before the cafe officially opened up to the public on the 31^st January 2022.

The café is open to the public Monday through to Friday from 6am-12pm, with those booking events in the backspace able to book the café to open on weekends if need be. On the daily, you’ll find coffee flow and breakfast and lunch options flying out the door.

The espresso bar is influenced by the duo’s past endeavours but stands alone with its own unique personality with their boutique café offering light meals, perfect pastries, and exceptional espresso by Seven Miles.

The all-day menu features a bunch of light eats with a unique twist. The vegan Peanut Butter & Jelly Overnight Oats with strawberry compote and crunchy granola has become a crowd favourite as has there Can’t Decide, perfect for those who want a little bit of this and a little bit of that. Featuring half a serve of the Peanut Butter & Jelly Overnight Oats and half a serve of Smashed Avo.

“It’s a nice little menu with a little bit of everything available.”

The intimate event hire space is located through the double pink doors which you won’t miss. Walk on through to a vast open industrial-esque space that has the ability to be utilised for many different types of events. From markets and workshops to networking and event micro weddings; Lot 19 Wickham has you covered.

“We put an info pack together that really details everything that you can do in the space. We’ve been leasing it out since October, in that time, we’ve been able to see what events we’ve had and how things run.”
