Head to Cardiff and enjoy A Good Day at this new café
Over the past few years, we’ve been lucky to watch the suburbs on the outskirts of Newcastle boom with the addition of quirky foodie spots, unique boutique stores, and more. Only recently, we had Cardiff brought to our attention with a bright new space opening up on the main road; A Good Day.
Brought to us by Benny and Ella, the couple, originally from Thailand have been here in Newcastle for the past four years with plans to work towards their dream goal; to open up their very own café space.
“Before we opened the café, we were running a cleaning business for commercial and residential buildings. It helped us save money for building our dream for this café,” Ella said.
The bright space commands presence from the street whether it’s rain, hail, or shine. With the neutral exterior and minimalist style within, it’s the perfect spot to sit down make yourself comfortable, and relax with a cup of joe in hand.
“We love this local area on the Main Road at the front of the pedestrian crossing that everyone can see when they walk past or drive through.”
The menu is kept simple but with a kick of flavours. From your typical Bacon and Egg Roll, and your Newcastle favourite; Acai Bowls, to the tastiest Wagyu Cheese Burger and Salmon Benedict.
Wash it all down with a cup of joe or choose from the four smoothie flavours; BBB (mixed berry, banana, spinach, almond milk, and honey), Green Dream (spinach, mango, banana, coconut milk, and honey), Fresh Pine (mango sorbet, mango, pineapple, yogurt, and honey), Sunshine Day (banana, peaches, almond milk, and honey).
“We offer $12 regular coffees with bacon and egg rolls each day and we’re also accepting the dine NSW vouchers in-store.”
In addition to all the goodness, if you drop in and show the team this article you’ll be able to redeem a Buy 1 coffee get 1 small coffee for free!
The name encapsulates all of which both Benny and Ella are trying to create in their newly opened space; for diners to come in and experience A Good Day.
With long-term plans to open more venues, locals are encouraged to drop into Cardiff’s newest venue and be amongst the first to have A Good Day!
