You know from our previous articles that our love for 1813 is a true love, and so we are extra excited they have a new foodie tasting experience planned for weekends in the month of May.
1813 have exclusively partnered with Boyd & Co to bring a premium dining experience to Broke. The limited offering is $40 pp and includes a tasting of 7 wines and 5 hors d'oeuvre sized, melt in your mouth pieces of food heaven. The selection of food is carefully designed to suit the time of year and the beautiful wines at 1813.
The wife and husband team Eliza and Thomas Boyd bring their extensive experience to the Boyd & Co catering business. Thom is a passionate, accomplished chef and Eliza is a star front of house professional. They both met whilst working in the famed two Michelin star London restaurant, The Ledbury. But the Hunter Region locals returned home in 2016 and continued their successful career leading a Hunter Valley restaurant to secure its Chef Hat for three consecutive years.
Now you have the opportunity to experience their amazing service and food via this unique and intimate experience at the beautiful cellar door of 1813 among the vines of Tinonee Vineyard Estate.
As we head into the cooler months of the year, imagine enjoying a miniature warm Hervey Bay scallop toasty whilst tasting the distinctive and refreshing 1813 Fiano and taking in the beautiful surrounds of the 1813 vineyard with its evolving Autumn colours.
